Celebrate a birthday at Kaska Family Farm!

If your desire is to have a special, out-of- the- ordinary birthday party; then Kaska Family Farm is the place to have it for your fall party needs. Wide open spaces to play and farm-fun activities (some spooky ones, too — if you choose) all combine to offer a party all your family and friends will remember!

WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO SCHEDULE PARTIES (Saturdays & Sundays Only) FROM SEPT 25th – OCT 31ST, 2010. During other months of the year (January thru August); it’s a working farm — and there’s just not much for you or your guests to enjoy, besides watching hay grow and the occassional car passing by!

Cost per party guest is $5.00 per person, and each guest receives 1 token. Additional tokens and the ducks can be purchased in the Gift Shop for $1.00 each.

A private, covered, reserved picnic area for a two-hour period with one 6ft long picnic table. There are bales of hay for additional seating at your site. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs if needed.
Birthday child’s admission is FREE!
Admission for party guests age 3yrs and younger are FREE with paid adult. These wee ones are not included in the pricing of the party package.

Activities that require tokens include:

Cow Train (1 token per person, per ride)
Corn Cannon (1 token for three shots)
Tokens may also be used for food or souvenir purchases.

Birthday Parties may be booked at the following times:

Saturdays:

10:00am – Noon
12:00pm-2:00pm
2:00pm-4:00pm
4:00pm-6:00pm
6:00pm-8:00pm

Sundays:

Noon – 2:00pm
2:00pm to 4:00pm
4:00pm-6:00pm

PAYMENT: Due to the high volume of party requests; a $25.00 is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit is refundable ONLY IF your reservation is cancelled no later than (1) one week (7 days) prior to your scheduled party date at the farm. We accept credit/debit cards.

OPERATING HOURS: Kaska Family Farm will be open to the public each weekend for our 2009 season from Saturday, September 19th thru Saturday, October 31st. (God willing and with Mother Nature’s cooperation!)

Hours of operation are: Saturdays (10:00am – 10:00pm) and Sundays (Noon – 6:00pm) We are not open on Friday evenings; we’re at the kid’s football game!

PARTY TIPS AND PROCEDURES

At least a month before the party…….

Select your date and time; contact us for scheduling and deposit payment (see above, under Payment) You may want to choose a few dates to work with; space is limited and can fill up quickly.
Before calling to book your party; carefully read the package details and pricing. Complete a guest list so you can determine your package costs upfront. A completed guest list will also be needed upon arrival to the farm the day of your party. This helps us ensure you are paying for your guests and not someone else! See list above for rates.
Decide ahead of time if you will be paying for accompanying parents and siblings. Remember to inform your guests and their families well before the party to avoid any “surprises”
For guests who may be dropped off, please have an adult at the waiting area next to our Ticket Office entrance to greet and escort them to the party.
Our parking lot is not located very close to areas where children could be running and playing; driving in these areas is prohibited. Pack accordingly — and ask our Staff for assistance, if needed.

Party Check In:

Arrive on time. Parties do start and end on the hour as scheduled.
Please provide a complete guest list to our Ticket Office. The guests will be checked off the list as they arrive.
Remember to have an adult with your party available to greet your guests at the entrance. You are welcome to make a sign to get their attention.
Payment must be made at this time for the entire guest list you provide. Once payment has been made, wristbands and tokens will be issued for admission. You will also receive a “Party Number” sign to display at your site for our staff and Party Coordinator.
No outside food allowed, except birthday cakes, cupcakes and goodie bags.
Concessions and Pizza delivery are available. Please place food orders early, contact us for details.
We do not close the farm due to warm/cold weather conditions. If we need to close due to rain, you will be notified and we’ll reschedule your party. Check our website for daily weather conditions.
For the safety of all our guests, it is our farm policy that absolutely no alcohol or barbeque grills are allowed on the property.

After the party……

Additional trash bags can be provided by our Staff for clean up. The party site must be completely clean before leaving.
Double check for cameras, lawn chairs, and other belongings. Kaska Family Farm and it’s staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
If children were dropped off; PLEASE do not leave until you are certain that they have been picked up by their parent or guardian.
