Here’s a few tips to help you enjoy your day at Kaska Family Farm. We don’t want too many rules because we want you to have a good time. As you’ll see, we got a little silly with a few of the rules. However, we do ask for your cooperation with a few things for your safety and the protection of others.
- Of course, our first rule: HAVE FUN!! …..but we do have a few more….
- Our second rule, Bring the WHOLE family and all your friends — there’s something for everyone!
- Operation of the maze is dependant upon the weather. Please check weather conditions here before coming out! We’re not open if it’s too wet; nobody wants to muck around in a muddy cornfield!
- We also recommend comfortable walking shoes, sunblock, etc. for this all-outdoor activity.
- Please leave your pets at home; we just don’t have the creature comforts available for our four-legged friends (unless assisting person(s) with disabilities).
- No smoking. This is a farm. It will be the fall season. There will be dried materials all around you: grass, leaves, etc. These things will burn if ignited. If we see smoke, we will assume you are on fire and take immediate action. You could be asked to leave. Thumbsucking and nose picking will not be grounds for immediate action.
- Absolutely no alcoholic beverages allowed on Kaska Family Farm property. (It’s just too much of a temptation for the chickens!)
- No pushing or shoving. Someone might shove you back, and then where would you be?
- No throwing – of anything– rocks, dirt, etc.
- Don’t pull on the corn plant leaves – ever have a paper cut? Imagine one ten times more painful!!
- Do not pull the corn plants out of the ground — leave it for guests tomorrow as it was for you today.
- No littering — please use the trash cans placed around the common areas.
- Stay on paths in the corn maze — don’t cut through the crop, we hear Bigfoot lives in there somewhere! He bites, too, we think!
- Stay out of service areas designated for maze staff. We’re not very pretty without our makeup!
- Stay seated on the cow train and hayride.
- Respect other guests.
- No fighting. You will be escorted from Kaska Family Farm by one of our security officers and they mean business!
- No foul language — our corn has ears!!
